Remembering the good old days...Well, originally I was going to post a simple collage but my younger brother asked me to submit a sketch he did of Mario (from Mario Party 5) but he tweaked it a bit using a paint program. So, what about my love for the Mario Bros.? Well, I may not have a collection of figurines or plush toys but I've been playing the Mario Bros. series since Mario first appeared in the Donkey Kong arcade game (he was known as Jumpman in those days)! I enjoyed playing the original Mario Bros. and spending endless hours playing Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World (just to name a few). My siblings and I were often fixated on reaching and defeating Bowser. My all-time favorite power-up would have to be the Tanooki Suit (with the Hammer Bros. Suit coming in very close). Whether I'm soaring through the Donut Plains as Caped Mario or defeating Boom Boom with a single hammer from the Hammer Bros. Suit, the Mario Bros. series will always old a special place for me (and my siblings) and I'm always ready for new challenges or taking a trip down memory lane. Yeah! Mario Bros.!
