Mario Quilt (Work in Progress)My sister has been putting many hours into the creation of this Super Mario Bros. quilt. I decided that although she hasn't finished it yet, it would be great to atleast enter pictures of what she has completed thus far. She doesn't know that I'm entering her... and if she had she likely would have crammed in the hours to finish it by the contest end date, I really wanted to do this without her knowing so that if she were to win, it would be a total surprise.
I couldn't tell you how many hours she has been working on this, but she has been going for about a month and a half. The sheet of computer paper shows what the end product will be, and can also be used as a reference for how large the displayed objects really are. The final quilt will be 7' by 6', with each pixel measuring in at 3/4" by 3/4". If my sister were to win, I promise to send completed pictures to Buzznet first, as she is planning to post her creation onto message boards following completion. |
